Woof Camp 2011,
the
annual pup party held at International Mr. Leather (IMRL) in Chicago,
IL, is almost here! Representing the pup community, this event promises
to be one of the most playful parties of IMRL
yet again.
This year’s theme is “Tricks” and
features some
surprises along with Pet Portraits and the Group Photo at Midnight!
Pups/dogs are encouraged to bring along their own water bowls, chew or
squeaky toys, owners and friends for a howling good time!

Session
A
9:00pm – 10:00pm: Pups/Dogs, Handlers/Trainers Only Private: This
session is
just for pups/dogs [owned and strays] and Handlers/Trainers to use for
training or to play with other pups/dogs. During this time there will
be an Active Area for romping around with other pups and a Quiet Area
for new pups, pups intimated by the larger, more aggressive pup play
area or for those who just want to rest or nuzzle with each other or
their Handler/Trainer. This session will also feature the popular puppy
piñata and Pet Portraits for those who attend.
Access to Session A will be restricted by volunteers at the door, who will be asking what you are there for. Tell the person at the door exactly what you are there for. Be prepared, as all pups/dogs in Session A are expected to be active participants and in pupspace (such as being on all fours throughout the session). People who sneak past the dog-sniffers at the door and try to crash the party as non-participants (on either end of the leash), will be asked by the volunteer staff to leave and return during the public session later in the night. Session
B
10:00pm – Midnight: Open To The General Public Open to the general public. Music, romping and frolicking. There will be an Active Area for those who want to romp around and have fun and a smaller Quiet Area for those who want to have a more subdued space. Group Photo will take place at Midnight. This session will also feature the popular puppy piñata, Pet Portraits and some surprises for those who attend. Official Woof Camp photographer Rich Stadtmiller will be taking pictures to be posted on the Woof Camp and RichTrove websites.
